Sheri Fournier

Sheri is a lifelong athlete and wellness advocate. She is a marathon runner, avid hiker, yoga practitioner, traveler and lover of life. She has traveled all over the world and is always looking for the next adventure. Her most notable physical accomplishments include summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro, qualifying for the Boston marathon at the Marine Corp marathon, and completing two Boston marathons (2013 and 2014).

Her strength, faith and positive outlook were tested when at the 2013 Boston marathon as she finished just 20 seconds before the first explosion and remembers being enthralled in the fear and chaos of the event. After much reflection, she accepted the invitation to run in the 2014 Boston marathon, not letting other people’s fears and hatred ruin her spirit.

Sheri reflects a positive attitude onto everyone she comes in contact with. To support her and her 6 year old son, she works full-time at a private residential high school as an assistant athletic director where she is able to reach and have a positive influence on students, faculty, staff and families. She completed her Wellness Coach certification after having her own personal experience with a coach and wanting to help others and she was helped.

Sheri has attended multiple retreats at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and attended the Wanderlust Festival at Whistler last summer.
