Jen first started practicing yoga when she injured her back in 2010. From the moment she started, she noticed an amazing improvement in not only her flexibility, but also her anxiety, the quality of her breath, the way she reacted to things and how she viewed herself as well as the world around her. Since then, she has faced many physical and emotional challenges since she started practicing, including a lot of loss and grief, as well as surviving a cancerous tumor last year. Yoga kept her going and it gave her reassurance to trust the process, to be in the present moment, and to be grateful for all that life has given her.

Last June, Jen attended her first Wanderlust festival with her sister, Christie, at Snowshoe and loved every moment of it. The level of kindness, connectedness, and love that she experienced from everyone lit up her soul. The fresh and cool mountain air and the beautiful sunset view combined with so many vibrant souls allowed her to fall in love with a festival experience she would never forget.

Jen is also a designer, an artist and a photographer. Visually and creatively driven, Jen enjoys weaving creativity into her practice. Yoga has always been there for her and she honestly believes in its healing power so much that she has decided to become a yoga teacher herself. She is currently going through teacher training and will be certified 200hr RYT in April. She has found a yoga community in her city of Cincinnati and is so excited to spread the Wanderlust love!
