Our founder, Vincent, launched Dang Coconut Chips in 2012 after his mother gave him a Thai recipe that requires toasted coconut. Vincent made the dish and immediately called his family in Thailand to find more coconuts because it tasted so good. With that, a new company was born. Vincent decided to name it Dang after his mother since it was her recipe that started it all.
Dang Foods is a family-operated, B-Corp company that has challenged the traditional snack industry by creating the Coconut Chip and Onion Chip categories. Using minimal ingredients, most of Dang’s products are vegan, gluten-free, Non-GMO Project Verified, cholesterol-free and high in fiber.
