Dr. Paul Gannon: Getting to the Root of the Truest Health

Dr. Paul Gannon discusses the impact of everyday stress on our immune systems and well-being

“Even in the darkest hour, we have so much for which to be thankful.” – Dr. Paul Gannon

In this speakeasy talk from Wanderlust Aspen-Snowmass 2014, Dr. Paul Gannon discusses the impact of everyday stress on our immune systems and its effect on our overall well-being. As a registered naturopath and graduate of Bastyr University in Seattle, he uses natural medicine, meditation, and non-toxic therapies to diagnose and treat a host of different illnesses.

Finding that traditional medicine took little of a patient’s emotional and psychological health into consideration, Dr. Paul Gannon began his research on the mind-body connection. What he found supported his hypothesis: that negative and positive energy, specifically strong emotions of compassion, love, hurt, and anger, can have a lasting impact on the physical body. By understanding how these forces work, Dr. Gannon has been able to develop tools to reduce stress and increase mental health.

“In this lifetime we are building our soul. This is what we take with us into the next plane of existence.” – Dr. Paul Gannon

This lecture also discusses:

  • How inflammation causes chronic disease
  • Tools to change our perspectives and heal from the inside out
  • How our stress levels affect quality of life and how to change them
  • How emotions can manifest into physical pain
