Find Your True North

Lauralee Bailey

Lauralee has enjoyed the outdoors pretty much her whole life! Whether riding bikes, skiing, skating or just running around playing games of tag she could be found outside most all seasons of the year. This love for the outdoors had continued into her adult life and the move to West Virginia 20 years ago has been a highlight! Cross country skiing is a favorite whether it’s done right outside the doors of her home, or in remote areas in the surrounding Monongahela National Forest. Hiking and kayaking are other favorite activities, but she also enjoys community based exercise classes. After many years of having an active lifestyle,Yoga has become a much needed and welcomed addition to Lauralee’s weekly routines. She feels blessed to have attended regular Yoga classes taught locally, which has guided her to develop a regular at home practice. Health and well-being has been another area of importance to Lauralee for most of her life, and the love of the outdoors and other activities are a priority for this reason. She believes this earth is an amazing place and what better place to thank the Creator than the great outdoors! When not outdoors, Lauralee loves her profession as a Speech/Language Pathologist for the local school system and the WV Birth to Three Program. Sometimes she is found “teaching” Yoga “letters” to Preschoolers or other stretches to Middle-Schoolers as part of their instruction or after-school programs.
