Euphoria Brass Band is a San Diego based musical collective that serves up a contemporary mix of old school New Orleans traditional brass band jazz, funky street beats and new school edginess with a West Coast feeling!

Created in 2011 by two New Orleans transplants, Ron Bocian and David Bandrowski and local jazz radio DJ, Drew Miller. They quickly assembled a top notch, hard-hitting horn section: Steve Ebner (trumpet), April West (trombone), David Jackson (tenor sax), JP Balmat (baritone & alto sax, clarinet) and Wayne Rice (sousaphone).

In 2012 they released their first CD “Coast To Coast” which was nominated for a San Diego Music Award. 2013 saw a second release called “In Step With Tradition” and a nomination for “Best Jazz Artist”. Both releases found National radio airplay on stations like San Diego’s KSDS Jazz 88.3 fm and New Orleans WWOZ. Their highly anticipated third release, “EBB & Flow” just hit the streets and it really burns!

Euphoria Brass Band has had the honor of sharing the stage with some of New Orleans music’s royalty: Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Trombone Shorty, Funky Meters, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Honey Island Swamp Band, Rosie Ledet among others.
