With an MBA from Yale University in the US, Virginia was once an investment banker in New York City who ran marathons for fun. Enter yoga – which merely began as a way to stretch her tight hamstrings. That was almost twenty years ago. Needless to say, her yoga practice opened so much more than just those hamstrings.
Virginia is an experienced E-RYT500 international yoga educator who prides herself on empowering self-care through therapeutic movement and educating students about their own anatomy and biomechanics. She champions the art of breathing in all of her classes, which helps to manage stress and improve all-around health and performance.
Virginia is a certified Roll Model® Method Practitioner having trained directly with creator and founder of Yoga Tune Up® balls, Jill Miller. Also an avid CrossFit athlete, she is a certified The Ready State (TRS, formerly Mobility WOD) Coach, trained by world-renowned physical therapist to world-class athletes, Dr. Kelly Starrett.
She is also a professionally-trained natural foods chef and a certified Holistic Health Coach (IIN). Virginia teaches workshops and teacher trainings in Australia and in the US and is the owner of Movement Vitality, a brand new yoga & mobility studio in Brisbane. She is also proud mama to three little boys.
