Tina Violina
About
Tina Violina is an Oahu-based yoga teacher, musician and environmental professional, passionate about bringing the gifts of yoga, music and creativity to the community. She was classically trained from age 5-17 and later started branching out into improvisation which is now her favorite thing to do. Tina seamlessly bounces back and forth and assimilates to many different genres, from Hawaiian music to folk rock, flamenco to blues, Middle Eastern music to Kirtan. She particularly enjoys collaborating with musicians of various genres to keep things interesting and loves to jam (Kanikapila in Hawaiian). She is currently working on a recording project for next year to showcase her variety of styles, inviting other local artists to add their talents to the mix. A seasoned world traveler, extraordinary chef and environmental professional working to preserve and protect our islands and water resources, she appreciates coming together for events and community gatherings that bring people together to celebrate and foster health, music, sustainability and inter-cultural understanding.
