Sean Hoess is the co-founder and CEO of Wanderlust Festival, a yoga lifestyle company that branches across events, media, retail and consumer products.

Wanderlust got its start in 2009 in Squaw Valley, CA, with a festival concept featuring world-class yoga practice, outdoor activities, lectures, music and arts. In 2013, Wanderlust created Wanderlust 108, a 1-day “mindful triathlon” event featuring yoga, meditation, and a 5k run. The events platform has expanded rapidly in the last three years, and now totals more than 60 events in 19 countries and 5 continents.

In 2012, Wanderlust began to open branded yoga studios, and 2015 saw the launch of our first re-imagined yoga center, Wanderlust Hollywood. 2017 marked the launch of Wanderlust TV, a media platform focusing on inspirational health and wellness content, as well as the global launch of a co-branded line of yoga & athleisure apparel with adidas. In 2018, Wanderlust’s will launch first wellness ideas conference, Wellspring, in Palm Springs, California.

A Brooklyn resident via New Hampshire and a recovering lawyer, Hoess is married to fellow Wanderluster Karina Mackenzie. The two have two young children, Jasper and Maia, and find that mindfulness practice helps.
