About

Mia has over 1500 hours of training in traditions that include doaist taiji, tantra yoga, yoga therapy, trauma informed yoga, yoga for children and seniors, meditation, alignment, yoga nidra, and more. She is an E-RYT 500, 300 CYT, 200 CYT, a Domestic Violence Advocate, Rest and Renew restorative yoga teacher, iRest Level 1 teacher, and a Certified Integrated Ayurvedic Practitioner and Advanced Yoga Teacher. Mia is currently in a four year, IAYT Yoga Therapy program in the Viniyoga tradition with Gary Kraftsow. She volunteer teaches prenatal yoga in Cook County Jail and to domestic violence survivors.

Mia has studied the art of yoga nidra with many teachers, including iRest with Richard Miller, Total Yoga Nidra with Uma Dinsmore Tuli, the Himalayan tradition with Rolf Solvik, and Satyananda Yoga Nidra with Rod Stryker and Dr. Swami Shankardev Saraswati.
