About

Melody is a well-known DJ on the #1 ranked Hawaiian style/reggae station, Island 98.5 and the only female reggae turn-tablist in Hawaii.  She has interviewed Morgan Heritage, Ziggy Marley, Common Kings, Anuhea, Tanya Stevens and Inner-Circle on-air. Her first major event allowed her to share the stage with Tarrus Riley and she eventually performed with Collie Buddz, The Green, Eli-Mac, and appeared with J Boog on his music video shoot for “Let’s Do It Again” at Sandy Beach.

Melody’s most current mixtape,”Pineapple Express”, was released in July 2015 before a Pacific Coast tour in California, Oregon and, Washington.  Melody is constantly pursuing her passion of positively influencing the lives of others.  In September 2015, Melody travelled to Kingston to volunteer at the Jamaica National Children’s Home.  Melody shared music, food, love, and laughter plus helped the teenagers create transitional plans for independence.  In Hawaii, Melody runs a statewide non-profit called YES Hawaii.  YES provides outreach and mentoring opportunities for youth involved with the Child Welfare System.
