My name is Melissa Rey and I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Southern California. I met my husband on a cruise ship and together we have a six month old sweet little baby girl. I love Jesus, coffee, and all things thrifted. I couldn’t be happier with where I’m at in my career and it took a lot of hard work to find my style and where I fit in this sea of amazing photographers. Meeting new people is my jam and I have a passion to help aspiring photographers learn this industry right along with me. That’s the beauty of photography is that there is always something new to learn and I firmly believe in community over competition.

There are so many aspects to creating a beautiful image, which is very subjective to every eye. But for me, I love capturing real, raw, and rad moments without posing them. The smiles, belly laughs, and sometimes gentle tears that really bring a photo to life. I just genuinely love what I do and want to share that passion with those around me!
