Lysha Kamisato Wernig was born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui. At the young age of 4 her passion for Hula and Tahitian was born and continues to grow as a professional dancer at the Old Lahaina Luau. More than a decade ago she started her career in the fitness industry teaching at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. In 2002, Lysha was given the opportunity to train under master instructor Jean Pierre Marques and earn her certification is Kitaido Yoga. In 2004, she was crowned Miss Maui with her platform being nutritional and physical education in the youth. Lysha is currently one of Lululemon Maui’s ambassadors for yoga and is thrilled to be sharing her passions with the world.
