Laila Kuri


She is an eternal student whose highest desire is to expand that which profoundly transformed her life: yoga. His first approach to yoga was a deep process of healing through Siddha Yoga (1995). In 1999 he began to practice with Rodney Yee videos and in 2001 he decided to dive completely in the Hatha Yoga studio in Varanasi, India with Shatendra Kurmar.
That same year she met Leonardo Favela and Anna Moxey who introduced her to Anusara Yoga. That same year she began her direct training with John Friend who was her teacher for 11 years.
She was part of the Anusara Yoga Certification Committee and in 2013 decided to take his own path with the creation of the style “Yoga Expansion” which is focused on fluid biomechanics and Tantric philosophy. Her main philosophy teachers have been Douglas Brooks and Vishali Varga. She has studied and practiced with Darren Rodhes, Noah Mazé, Sianna Sherman, David Kyle, Doug Keller, Kent Lindemer, Carlos Pomeda, Christina Sell, has practiced seasonally at the Ramamani Iyengar Institute in Pune and in Mysore (India).
She studied Music at Fermatta, Latin American Literature at Ibero, has two specializations in Ayurveda and is a certified Health Coach from Integrative Nutrition. Her sadhana has been offering with the heart national and international courses such as Mexico, Europe, Latin America, Central America, South Africa and India. Currently offers training of Teachers endorsed by Yoga Alliance, transmits classes and online courses through and, gives consultations of integral nutrition with emphasis Ayurveda and studies Ayurveda Clinic in the School of Ayurveda Of California.
