Katherine Miller is the founding executive director of the Chef Action Network (CAN) and Senior Director of Food Policy Advocacy at the James Beard Foundation. CAN is a coalition of more than 100 of America’s leading chefs who working for policy change at the state and federal level. At the Beard Foundation Katherine is part of the foundation’s Impact team, which is dedicated to engaging the culinary community in the ongoing process of creating a sustainable food system that provides nutritious and delicious food for all. She also leads the foundation’s signature advocacy training program, the Chefs’ Boot Camp for Policy & Change.
