Kat Harding

About

Kat Harding of @yogakiss first started practicing yoga when she was 16 after requesting and receiving a Yoga DVD as a present. From there her practice slowly began to flourish until she finally found her style and flow in Sri Lanka and on the Isle of Wight.

Having always lived an ‘outdoors’ nature filled life, Kat is naturally drawn to the ocean and the beach and upon completing her Yoga teacher training in London and Spain she moved back to her home in Australia and began teaching beach yoga and vinyasa yoga classes in the stunning Noosa Heads, QLD.

But it was whilst living on the Isle of Wight and spending days and hours paddling the rugged shorelines that Kat first took her yoga practice to a SUP Board and where she truly found her practice. After trying a class with a local teacher on the Isle of Wight, Kat was hooked and upon her return to Australia became the first qualified SUP Yoga Instructor in the country.

Combining the sunshine, fresh air and flowing movements of the body with the water, SUP Yoga is a blissful experience that Kat shares with visitors to Noosa (and in Europe) as part of her retreats and regular classes.

Kat’s classes and practice are based on moderation and always listening to what the body, mind and most importantly the soul needs. She believes it’s all about the experience and living in the moment and allows her students to find what they need from their own practice, even if it is under her guidance.
