Jennifer Perry


Jennifer has been studying movement since she left home for Chicago at age 15 to attend The Chicago Academy for the Arts High School. After graduating from the Academy, she moved to New York to continue her studies of dance, anatomy, psychology, and nutrition at The State University of New York at Purchase. In 2002 she moved to Las Vegas to dance for Celine Dion in her show A New Day, where she performed for 5 years and practiced under Celine’s yoga teacher Lena Platel. In 2007 Jennifer moved to Los Angeles where she completed her Teacher Training at Yogaworks at the Larchmont Center for Yoga. In 2009 Jennifer completed a 2 year contract as a dancer/singer/aerialist in Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark on Broadway, where she taught yoga to the cast and crew as well as NYC studio YOGAMAYA. She has completed a 10-day Vipassana meditation course under the teachings of S.N. Goenka and continued her studies in meditation at the New York Insight Meditation Center with Jon Aaron. Jennifer is currently living in Los Angeles where she is teaching yoga privately as well as at Wanderlust and Yogaworks Center for Yoga. She is a 500 hour RYT through YOGAWORKS.
