I started running in 1996, and ran my first marathon in 1997. Completing that race was the best feeling I had ever experienced. Since then I’ve run a total of 23 marathons all over the world, including Tokyo, London, Paris and New York. I love the thrill of flying to a new city and racing with thousands of people. And there is no feeling like crossing that finish line.
Over the last year I have been following a new running challenge: the ultra marathon. On June 25 I completed my first ultra, a 50km race from Squamish to Whistler. I think I’ve found a new running love!
