WANDERLUST O’AHU – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

OahuAttendeeInfoPhoto02
We look forward to welcoming you to Wanderlust O’ahu this weekend. The excitement is building on the North Shore, and not only because of Wanderlust O’ahu. Yesterday, a Yellow Alert (standby) was issued for the 9th Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau surf competition. This epic, invitation-only big wave competition has happened only eight times in its 32-year history. Whether or not the Eddie will GO will be decided on Thursday morning 6 AM local time. For this to happen, the swell at Waimea Bay needs to be consistently huge: 30 feet.  Right now, the forecast is for waves up to 50 feet!

Given this rare and breathtaking swell, we expect travel delays as well as changes to the festival schedule for your safety.
