This trail mix is an easy way to make a snack with delicious, nutrient-dense ingredients. The toasting process really brings out a rich cinnamon, nutty flavor combined with a satisfying crunch.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup macadamia nuts
1 cup raw almonds
½ cup flax seeds
1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
2 cups Kashi GOLEAN Clusters Cereal, Vanilla Pepita
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp sea salt
DIRECTIONS
Pre-heat oven to 300° F.
In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients except the dates and Kashi GOLEAN Clusters. Toast in the oven for 15-20 minutes, then combine with the cereal and dates and set aside to cool. Pack in ziplock bags or mason jars to go.
