Most Important Yoga Advice

Move and breathe into your tender spaces, instead of moving around them or avoiding them.

This philosophy runs deep for me – in my yoga practice and in my life. I’ve worked hard to face challenges and tender spaces, move through them and all the sticky emotions that can come up, and then learn from the process. It’s always a work in progress, yet growth is guaranteed. This applies to healing injury or unease in our body and mind, while exploring the dance between our strengths and weaknesses. There is nothing that is outside of the practice and we can find the sacredness in all things if we choose to approach both our practice and the many layers of life with this willingness to grow as we teach ourselves to breathe through it all.
