Coming to terms with a loved one’s diagnosis\u2014especially when it\u2019s a parent<\/a>\u2014can be a difficult thing.<\/p>\n

You try to do what\u2019s best for the person while also listening carefully to their wishes. You stand up to help them reach what they\u2019re grasping for, be it treatment, for someone to listen, or something off the shelf.<\/p>\n

But sometimes what\u2019s \u201cright\u201d isn\u2019t easy to discern. And fulfilling the wishes of a family member (especially one facing death) can become a complicated path.<\/p>\n

In this video, Adam Bauer<\/a>, a traveling kirtan singer<\/a>, coach, consultant, and founder of Dharma Boutique, opens up about his life and shares his story about his mother\u2019s Alzheimer\u2019s diagnosis, her quality of life, and her stated desire for a dignified death.<\/p>\n
