Get a taste IRL at the Brooklyn 108 on September 9, where\u00a0natural beauty expert, holistic chef, and Wellness Council member <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sophia_roe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sophia Roe<\/a> will be serving up these treats at The Vitamin Shoppe booth from 1pm\u20133pm.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>For tickets and more information, <a href=\"https:\/\/wanderlust.com\/108-events\/brooklyn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl<\/h3>\n<p><em>Makes 1\u20132 bowls.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 packets\u00a0frozen unsweetened dragon fruit<br \/>\n1\/2\u00a0 cup\u00a0frozen raspberries\u00a0(or fruit of choice)<br \/>\n2 medium\u00a0ripe bananas\u00a0previously peeled, sliced, and frozen<br \/>\n3\u00a0vegan vanilla protein of your choice<br \/>\n1\/4 \u2013\u00a01\/2\u00a0cup\u00a0coconut milk, or other alternative milk<br \/>\n1\/2 cup coconut water<br \/>\n1 scoop Probiotic of choice<br \/>\nStevia to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong>INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Add frozen dragon fruit, frozen raspberries, banana, protein powder, and dairy-free milk (starting with lower end of range). Blend until creamy. The trick to a thick smoothie bowl is blending slowly, adding only as much liquid as necessary, be sure to scrape down sides. Taste and adjust flavors as needed, adding more fruit for texture, or more stevia for sweetness. Divide into bowl, and add toppings of choice. (We love\u00a0things like shredded coconut, hemp seeds, chopped dragon fruit, goji berries, sliced kiwi, fresh raspberries, blueberries, sliced banana, or peaches!)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-105655\" src=\"https:\/\/wanderlust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/melissa-walker-horn-637093-unsplash-768x825.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"825\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wanderlust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/melissa-walker-horn-637093-unsplash-768x825.jpg 768w, https:\/\/wanderlust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/melissa-walker-horn-637093-unsplash-992x1066.jpg 992w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>No-Bake PB&amp;J Treats<\/h3>\n<p><em>Makes 15 balls.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup\u00a0creamy peanut butter (or almond, cashew, sunbutter)<br \/>\n1\/4 cup\u00a0maple syrup<br \/>\n1 tbsp vegan protein powder of your choice<br \/>\n1 scoop collagen powder of your choice, unflavored<br \/>\n1 cup gluten-free rolled oats<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp maca powder of your choice<br \/>\n2 1\/2 tbsp flax seed meal<br \/>\n2 tbsp hemp seeds<br \/>\n1\/4 cup\u00a0dried fruit of your choice (blueberries, cherries, golden berries, etc)<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp sea salt to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong>INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To a large mixing bowl, add peanut butter, maple syrup, protein powder, collagen, maca, rolled oats, flax seed meal, chia seeds, and dried fruit of choice. Mix until well combined. If too crumbly, add more peanut butter or maple syrup. If too wet, add more oats or flaxseed meal. Chill in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
