Like many of her great teachers, Nikki’s yoga journey has taken her throughout the United States. From developing her own personal practice during college to her time as a fashion buyer in New York City, Nikki desired to explore the deeper aspects of yoga. By showing up on her mat and allowing there to be space, the true gifts of the practice were revealed to her. This was particularly true during one trying period in her life, when Nikki was faced with a significant personal tragedy; her practice enabled her to find the strength and balance to persevere through this difficult time.

Nikki aspired to share her yoga practice with others but wondered in what capacity. After moving to Nashville, Nikki completed her 200-hour teacher training at Sanctuary for Yoga, Body & Spirit. She refined her niche in Vinyasa, and immediately began sharing her teachings throughout the local Nashville yoga community.
Currently living in the Washington, D.C. area, Nikki has continued to find unique ways to share her teachings with others. The past year and half has been a challenging and beautiful part of her journey, as she settled into the area and completed her 300-hour teacher training in Ojai, CA.

Nikki specializes in teaching Gentle Yoga, a unique blend of Hatha and Vinyasa, as well as Restorative Yoga. She is currently teaching at Equinox in D.C. and Bethesda, MD, and is excited to be offering specialized workshops at both Marcela’s Yoga Boutique and Pure Prana in Alexandria, VA throughout the coming year.

Nikki is known for her warm personality and generous heart. She has an incredible ability to guide her students through their own personal practice. If she could provide just one verse to others, Nikki hopes you find that single force in life that inspires you to be your best self each and every day. Just like yoga, life is a practice, and even during our most challenging times, we can always come back to our mat and start anew.
