Kono is a family-owned Māori food & beverage business. As an artisan producer we draw inspiration from the kono –the basket of produce that our people offer to guests in a tradition of honour and hospitality. Our products flow from our culture, and we share our products, award-winning wine, cider, seafood, fruit and natural fruit bars with over 25 markets.
Our connection to the land and sea is at the heart of our identity as Māori. Our Māori values like Kaitiaki or Guardianship are core principles that underpin and guide our approach to our business.
