Jara Weinkauf
Jara was born with a severe heart condition called Tricuspid Valve Atresia and grew up in Germany. Since then, she has studied and worked in many other countries as the U.S. and U.K. Following her latest open heart surgery she has launched a blog, Optimistic Heart, where she advocates for an active and fun filled life despite having a congenital heart defect and shares her experiences of living with only half a functioning heart.
