Home to some of Los Angeles’s best American cuisine, Gjelina cooks up more than just seasonally-inspired pizzas, salads, and small plates. The restaurant’s creative, mouthwatering vegetable dishes and sandwiches are also not to be missed. The flavors of each dish are so intricately woven and expertly paired that it’s nearly impossible not to want to try everything. This Abbot Kinney hot spot is no secret though, so prepare for a worthwhile wait if you plan on g during busy hours.

Short on time but dying to sample all of the city’s best flavors? Then swing by Grand Central Market, a downtown marketplace bursting with the various cultures and cuisines of Los Angeles. More than just a yoga studio, Wanderlust Hollywood offers workshops, a meditation den, and a healthy foods cafe with a seasonal, veggie-rich menu designed by superstar chef Seamus Mullen. It’s easy to spend an entire day in the center, going from yoga to meditation to a workshop, and finishing it all off with a refreshing libation on the patio.

Should you find yourself in the Santa Monica area, do yourself a favor and visit Bhakti Yoga Shala. It’s definitely on the more spiritual side of things, with many of the classes utilizing chants and aromatherapy. Most of the offerings are donation-based, making BYS a great spot for travelers or locals looking to explore.

The Brewery and Public House has a wide variety of craft brews on tap, including the Srirachelada (Angel City’s take on a michelada), the Angel City IPA, and the West Coast Wheat. Open until midnight, Angel City Brewery is a great place to start or end an epic LA evening.
