There are no better eyes through which to see Winterlust than Amie Engerbretson’s!<\/p>\n

Not only is this world-renowned pro skier, but as the daughter of a cinematographer, she’s inherited the eye and the know-how to capture the thrill of a fresh-tracks descent.<\/p>\n

We were so fortunate to have Amie lead ski sessions at Winterlust\u2014and hop on her mat for our mountaintop yoga and meditation classes. As a lifelong Tahoe resident, she’s a yogi who has been to our Wanderlust Festivals many times, so it was a natural fit for her to combine her mindfulness practices with leading alpine pursuits. She led ski sessions daily, and gave a fireside chat about her involvement with Protect Our Winters<\/a> at the Ricola<\/a> lodge, which was our Winterlust homebase for the duration of the event.<\/p>\n

Winterlust Taos 2022- Day One<\/h3>\n

Day 1 of @winterlustfest<\/a> in @skitaos<\/a> was positively lovely! Skiing under sunny skies, yoga amongst amazing souls, a hot tub apr\u00e9s party and a splash of @kjwines<\/a>! What else could girl ask for\u2026 well the retro silent disco skate party later is going to be the cherry on top! Can\u2019t wait for more! @wanderlustfest<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Winterlust Taos 2022- Day Two<\/h3>\n

The magic continued on day two of @winterlustfest<\/a>@skitaos<\/a>. Sunrise tracks, yoga w\/ @ginaontheloose<\/a> and more runs, all capped off with a beautiful slope-side dinner by @matthewdeliso<\/a> and @kjwines<\/a>\u2026 just when I thought It couldn\u2019t get any better, we were serenaded by @garthstevenson<\/a> fireside under the night sky\u2026 @winterlustfest<\/a> you are stealing my heart! <\/em><\/p>\n

I have been lucky to attend many @wanderlustfest<\/a> weekends and what I cherish are all the moments, both grand and small, that stay in my heart from these events! This weekend\u2019s @winterlustfest<\/a> has been full of these moments! A breathtaking setting (@skitaos<\/a>,) heart and mind opening classes, soul filling music and an incredible community of amazing humans! Amie Engerbretson is a professional skier and lover of mountains, cats and smiles. The seed of passion for skiing and adventure was planted on the slopes of Palisades Tahoe and has grown into a lifestyle and career that has taken her around the globe, being featured in many ski media outlets and sharing her passions with the world. Hard work and a strong spirit combined with her commitment to her craft have enabled Amie to pursue her dreams, while keeping her in the fast lane, with a permanent smile on her face.
