Michelle Sarah is a soulful funky group out of Burlington, VT. The band is led by this Canadian born singer/songwriter, who comes with a colorful history. Growing up in Guyana, South America, it was in 1998 that the USA became the third country she called home. It was in 2012 Michelle made her move out of Philadelphia to pursue putting her own project together. “I had worked in so many studios, on so many tours, singing back-ups, arranging vocals for other musicians, and writing, always writing; it was really time to focus on my own music. The decision really felt good, but I knew I was taking a pretty big chance on myself.”

In the years since her move, Michelle has made believers out of audiences at festivals and concert venues spanning the country. Seen on stage with the likes of Parliament Funkadelic, Warren Haynes, Gavin Degraw(funk/rock/pop), she has been seen doing it all.

Michelle Sarah Band released an album called “For Today” in the summer of 2015. “Music is so powerful. It can make you skip down a sidewalk or go crying to your momma” Michelle says. “I want to embrace those emotions, I love to make people feel, I love to make people dance and sing, but most of all, I really love to make music! I give thanks that I’ve been given a platform on which to do that, I’ll sing always.”
