My father inspired me to run when I was 6 years old. I have never stopped, competing through college. In January 2016, I made history by becoming the first American female to run 7 marathons, on 7 continents in 7 days. What an honor to represent our country. I loved the test of endurance and strength, and to show my 8 year old daughter Taylor to believe in herself and that she can do anything she puts her mind to. I recently completed my 17th Boston Marathon, and I am completing a marathon in all 50 states. When I am not running and hanging out with Taylor, I am managing an ice cream shop and I own a day care, both in Belmont MA. I’m really looking forward to meeting you at Wanderlust!
