Courtney Regan

About

Courtney Regan looks for balance, both on the board and on land. A Great Lakes child, she grew up on the water, but found the start of her education in the desert. After studying Kinesiology and Dance at Arizona State University, Courtney decided she needed to find a way to blend her love of an active life and flexibility of mind and body, into a lifestyle. Twelve years on the mat directed Courtney to complete her initial 200 hours RYT at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. Never one to limit herself, Courtney jumped at the opportunities SWIHA offered in advanced training in Vinyasa sequencing and principles of alignment. It was then that she decided to take the plunge and follow her heart to Santa Monica California, where at Mother’s Beach, she was introduced to Stand-up Paddle Boarding. In the spring of 2016, Courtney completed her SUP yoga teacher training under Sarah Tiefenthaler. Courtney was given the opportunity to assist at the Squaw Valley Wanderlust Festival in July if 2016 and made it her goal to be invited to return as a teacher. Courtney is eternally grateful for the chance to join the Wanderlust Festival as a teacher. She looks forward to guide her balanced and athletic classes for all levels of fearless, active and enthusiastic souls.
