What’s so rad about Adelaide? Cultured, neat-casual residents, a collective coffee obsession, sprawling hidden boutiques, and vibrant community happenings mixed with a tonne of sun? You’ve got yourself one soulful city that’s close to many locals’ hearts. Here’s where the yogis are hanging the South Australian capital!

Where to shop

Your one stop shop to find all the tools you need for your spiritual journey! Spoil yourself with unusual and rare crystals, a huge range of incense, essential oils, Himalayan salt lamps, and much, much more!

El Cabello

Want to fuel your wanderlust? The exotic El Cabello is the place! Traveller at heart and founder Jane blends contemporary and native design, offering a global inspired collection of art, furniture, jewellery and fashion accessories.

Attitudes Boutique Adelaide
53 Jetty Road, Glenelg 5045, SA, (08) 8295 7845
These guys have been around for 20 years and there’s no doubt they’ll be around for 20 more. With every visit, discover the hottest, latest premium threads, and be quickly befriended by bright, fresh-faced styling experts.

Where to eat

Plant 4 Bowden
1 Third Street, Bowden SA 5008, 0415 064 950
Plant 4 is one good lookin’, hip and happening place! Say hello to a diverse market stall round up of smoothie bowls and raw cakes, to vegan milk-less cheese (say what? we know!) and mean Greek and Italian cuisine. And it’s not just about the food. There’s always an exciting happening, whether it’s live music or fire twirling.

Argos on the Parade
212 The Parade, Norwood SA 5067, (08) 8431 1387
For an “instaworthy” feed, Argos is a must stopover! Look no further than this overwhelmingly drool-worthy menu of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and – yes! – paleo delights. Make sure you make a booking or get in early as there can be a wait for tables on weekends. Don’t worry, it’s well worth the wait!

Karma and Crow
249-251 Richmond Road, Richmond SA 5033, (08) 8352 5104
Karma and Crow looks of an unassuming white, minimalist building. But step in and you’ll be in awe of an Adelaide city gem devoured with greenery, excitable staff and a fine selection of health-conscious food. These guys make a brilliant coffee that will have you coming back. My favourite Sunday brunch spot, hands down!

Where to sweat

Power Living Adelaide
60 Halifax St, Adelaide SA 5000, (08) 8231 0596
Time to move and groove. Get down to Power Living for one of their dynamic classes. My favourite? Vinyasa with music. Soulful tunes and expressive asana sequencing will sure raise your vibration! Owners Tessa and Triton are a bundle of love and energy who’ll welcome you into the community with open arms.

Tahlia Pretty Personal Training (TPPT)
26 Elizabeth St, Adelaide SA 5000
Manifest your wildest dreams and desires as you sweat it out in one of TP-PT’s HIIT Sessions. These workouts are specifically designed for you to cleanse the mind, body and soul, awaken your cells to vibrate on a new exciting level and make you feel as though you can do anything. All levels welcomed.

Cosmic Yoga
1/137-139 Brebner Dr, West Lakes SA 5021, (08) 8355 4452
As soon as you walk through the door of Cosmic Yoga, you’ll feel at home. The studio has some of the best teachers in Adelaide to guide you through a life-changing practice. Here, embrace the cosmic balance of yin and yang! You’ll always leave feeling inspired and ready to take on the day ahead.
