Kendy Gable
Kendy Gable is an American singer-songwriter and poet. She grew up on a small farm in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania. It is there where her love of the natural world was cultivated.
Kendy’s work revolves around writing, musical composition, performance and a continuous study of history and nature. These are the main themes of her writing. She takes a humanistic, peaceful approach to everyday actions and objects and aims to communicate beautifully with a focus on the natural resources that surround us. Traveling and living in many different places has helped to cultivate a humanistic understanding to her writings. She has lived and worked in Melbourne, Australia, New York City, and the Catskill Mountains in New York State. Currently she resides in Berlin, Germany.
Kendy has released three albums of music and has toured throughout the United States and Europe. In 2018, she published her first book of poems, ‘Then Suddenly Sun.’ Her fourth album of music is set to release in 2020. In addition to writing and performance, Kendy is the founder of Open Voice, a holistic vocal training studio that uses the principles of yoga and meditation to open up the body and free the voice.
