The Bergamot is an American indie-folk-rock band based in Brooklyn, New York. The two founding members and singer-songwriters of The Bergamot are husband and wife Nathaniel Hoff and Jillian Speece. There uplifting original sound is similar to artists like the Bahamas, Feist and Grouplove.
The Bergamot’s genre bending acoustic and synth driven music has them breaking out as the new face of folk. People Magazine have coined them as, “The hottest emerging music talent” while, Paste Magazine describes hearing The Bergamot as, “Hard Hitting and Catchy as Hell.”
Listeners find there upbeat tempos, catchy hooks and deep lyrics to be optimistic and inspiring in a chaotic world.
In 2016 they toured 250+ dates to all 50 states of America on The Unity Collective peace tour. They maintain a extensive touring schedule which has lead them to share the stage with artist such as All American Rejects, Young The Giant and Wiz Kalifa.
The Bergamot has performed in every state of America and has toured throughout Europe. They have graced the stages of festivals such as SXSW, Summer Camp Music Festival, Taste of Chicago, Bud Lights Port Paradise Music Festival and The Traverse City Film Festival. The Bergamot has been seen in People Magazine, Icon Magazine, BuzzFeed, The Chicago Tribune, CMJ, Skope Magazine, WGN Chicago, CBS, HGTV and ABC.
With 5 prior independent releases, they have been working hard from London to create there newest album “Mayflies” set to release Fall 2018.
