Sneaky Sound System
About
The Australian dance music group Sneaky Sound System prove that “electronic music can have heart, soul and brains” – The Herald Sun.
Formed by powerhouse singer Miss Connie Mitchell and producer extraordinaire Black Angus McDonald. The two started making beautiful music together in 2004. As their reputation grew, thanks to the still-weekly Sneaky Sundays club night in Sydney, Sneaky Sound System released their self-titled debut album in 2006. Spearheaded by a spectacular salvo of hits – think UFO, Pictures and I Love It – they were quickly propelled to international success, topping charts, winning awards and in addition to their own headline tours, supporting Jamiroquai, Scissor Sisters, Sam Sparro, and Lady Gaga.
Striking while the iron was all but on fire, they released their second album, ‘2’, shortly followed by, From Here to Anywhere, both to critical acclaim. And in-between all this, proving she has a voice like no other, Miss Connie was invited to feature on the Kanye West/Jay-Z global #1 album ‘Watch The Throne’, Kanye’s ‘Graduation’ album, and albums by Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg.
