I started practicing yoga in February 2017 in the middle of a very stressful period of my life. I was exhausted mentally and physically, I was struggling with the image I had of myself and I thought starting yoga was a good idea, and it really was! Thanks to yoga I started listening to my body and facing the feelings I was trying to escape from.
Soon I started a yoga instagram account to stay motivated and to connect with yogis all around the world and in September I started my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training through It’s Yoga Florence.
Just a few days ago Yoga Magazine Italia included my name in the Italy TOP 20 Yoga Influencers and it was a beautiful surprise!
I practice a mix of Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Ashtanga allows me to challenge myself tracking my progress through the same sequences (rockets are my absolute favorites), on the other side I love to give into my creativity and just flow, and here is where Vinyasa comes in handy. You can find some sippets of my Vinyasa flows on my Instagram page. I am hoping to start teaching regular studio classes in the Florence area soon, for now I am booking privates and retreats in the area.
Outside yoga I’m a full time Medical Student in the fifth year of six and I love it. Sometimes I’m tired but I always find the motivation to go through this amazing journey.
Just some fun facts about me – I love to cook and I’m pretty good at it (my grandma is so proud!), I love pasta, pizza and gelato, and I love chocolate too! I have two Kitties named Dafne and Layla!
