Maggy Liell

About

Ellen (Maggy) Liell – Operated Restoration Painting for thirty years, working on Virginia Historic homes such as Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest. Volunteered teaching art in public schools and teaching infant care at a local Hospital. Raised on a farm in southern Indiana loving the outdoors, I moved to Virginia in 1978. Seventeen years ago bought a farm at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountian’s, and have been restoring a chestnut log cabin that’s was built in 1785. Together with my farm and where I work as a grounds keeper for a five hundred acre nature study center (owned by Lynchburg College) I’m surrounded by Nature every day, and feel very blessed.
