Whether you want to take a lesson or rent a surf or SUP board, Hans Hedemann has you covered. Our award winning staff will guide you through the waves and teach you all the necessary skills.
The Hans Hedemann Surf Center is conveniently located just footsteps away from the main Turtle Bay Resort. These are the best surf lessons oahu can offer, and are just over by The Point – Sunset & Pool Bar. While we cannot control the waves, wind and weather, we have a backup spot just minutes away from the resort to guarantee the best surf for the day. Even if North Shore conditions are ripping at overhead waves (which North shore is known for), you can still catch some waves perfect for beginners.
All of the equipment necessary for the lesson is also included: surfboard, leash, rash guard lycras, and instruction. Just bring your own swimwear and towel for after the lesson.
