Whether he’s leading an innovative workout, implementing a corporate fitness program, or delivering a motivational presentation, he is known for his engaging energy, skill, and charisma.
Gideon teaches and inspires people across the country through fitness events, media appearances, and his charismatic online presence: In 2017, the Chicago Sun-Times published a three-page spotlight on Gideon’s training tips, GQ.com showcased his expertise in its online fitness series, and Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global selected Gideon as one of 20 leading fitness experts nationally. He has appeared on the Steve Harvey Show, WGN-TV, and FOX 32 Chicago, and in 2016 Men’s Health released RIPTENSITY™, a popular DVD fitness series created and led by Gideon. In addition, Men’s Health, Men’s Journal and the Huffington Post each have named Gideon’s Instagram account (@getfitwithgiddy) as one of the best fitness accounts in the country.
A Chicago native and lifelong athlete, Gideon graduated from the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA), where he played Division I football and became one of the leading kickoff returners in the school’s history. After embarking on a career in finance, he followed his heart and became a full-time personal trainer and group fitness instructor in 2010. Since then, thousands have benefitted from Gideon’s individualized training sessions, corporate bootcamps, and high-intensity classes—one of which was recognized by Men’s Book Chicago as one of Chicago’s toughest workouts.
With his versatile training techniques, Gideon consistently motivates with his positive attitude, his contagious energy, and especially his wholehearted belief in each person’s success.
