Emily Elizabeth is a photographer and creative based in Rochester, Minnesota, recently returned to her roots after living in Europe for six months. Before traveling abroad, she studied Communication and Photography at The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) in Duluth, MN. Her studies in photography included courses in film and digital photography, photojournalism, alternative photography methods, graphic design, and an independent study in portrait photography. The final term of her undergraduate study (Autumn 2016) was spent on exchange at Regent’s University London (RUL). While in London, she worked with Sofar Sounds London as a Volunteer Photographer. She continued traveling in Europe with a suitcase, yoga mat, and her camera following the completion of her studies in December. During her six months abroad, she fed her love for the photographic arts through practice in portrait, music, and travel photography. She has returned to the States with a changed perspective, leading to deeper photographic opportunities and growth. As a photographer, her goal is to capture images of her experience in this world that can be shared universally, delivering messages of inspiration. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion for photography with the Wanderlust community this year!
