Mama, entrepreneur, yoga + meditation teacher, and essential oil advocate, Christine Russell’s mission is to ground people in health and peace to live, lead and love from their own divine power. A thought-leader in the Wellness industry, Christine co-founded 889 Community with her sister, a renowned Toronto wellness studio they curated and operated for 11 years and sold in 2017, where she continues to teach weekly classes. Together the sisters have expanded their reach globally with their business Essential Sisters: igniting hearts and upgrading health through meditation, mentorship, and a team of thriving, soulful women sharing doTERRA essential oils.
Studying yoga + meditation since 2002, her work has been featured in New York Times, The Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Life, Toronto Star, Fashion Magazine. Christine graduated from The Richard Ivey School of Business, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Global Masters of Entrepreneurship program. Mama Earth is her sanctuary with her daughters and her beloved husband in Toronto.
