Arihia Latham has been a practising Naturopath and Ayurvedic practitioner for thirteen years. She is passionate about geographical medicine, particularly utilising the medicinal potency of the native plants in Aotearoa. This led her focus to the study of traditional Māori plant medicine. She currently teaches in Wellington and at Otago medical school on the subject.
Arihia has practised yoga for seventeen years and knows that her morning asana and meditation practise enables her to juggle the many roles of consulting, facilitating, lecturing, writing and parenting. This Wanderlust, Arihia will teach on Ayurvedic medicine and how it can deepen your asana practise. She will be leading hikes in the native forest surrounding Lake Taupo identifying and sharing the applications for the medicinal plants that grow there and talking about traditional Māori concepts of health.
