Amanda Nurse

About

Amanda is a Boston-based elite marathon runner and yoga instructor. She ran her first marathon (Boston, 2010) in 3:26 and now, 14 marathons later, boasts a personal best of 2:40, which earned her a spot in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Marathon Team Trials. With her multiple New England race victories she is one of Boston’s most visible runners. Amanda recently made a career change into the fitness world, owning and managing Boston's first Yoga for Athletes studio (Wellness in Motion Boston) and becoming the Lead Instructor at Heartbreak Hill Running Company's treadmill studio. She inspires her athletes to find their best session after session and is currently providing personal coaching to 2017 Boston Marathon runners. Amanda has lead runs and bootcamp classes for the past 2 years at Wanderlust Festival in Stratton, VT! She is delighted to lead Wanderlust 108 runs this year!
