About 108

What is Wanderlust 108?

Wanderlust 108 is full day celebration, featuring a triathlon unlike any you’ve ever known. This “mindful triathlon” brings three events together in your favorite local park: a 5K* run (or walk), an outdoor yoga experience, and a guided meditation – but with a twist. Following the triathlon, you can take one scheduled activity, such as acroyoga, AIReal Yoga™, hooping, and more!

From DJs on the main stage to lawn activities and craft vendors, there’s plenty to do when you’re not on your mat. Nationally recognized teachers, speakers and musical talent are featured at each event to make for a fun-filled day.

*The 5K is approximate.

What is a scheduled activity?

You can sign up in advance for one scheduled activity such as acroyoga, hooping, aerial yoga, a walking meditation, a photography workshop, or an essential oil workshop. Your scheduled activity will follow the mindful triathlon.

What is a bonus activity?

If you are itching for more, after you have completed your scheduled activity you can pop into bonus field games that are offered later in the day. Grab your friends and pop by.

Who is this event for?

This is a triathlon for everybody, so come join our mindful community. This is a non-competitive, just-for-fun opportunity to do it all. And by all we mean all together, supporting each other as we push our boundaries and challenge ourselves with new experiences. The bigger the cheering section, the better!

Can kids participate?

Yes! Kids can also participate. For those 13 and under, tickets are free. Strollers are welcome as well, we just ask that you are mindful of others walking and running on the 5K course.

Will there be food?

There will be picnic lunches available for purchase online before the event!  You also may bring a picnic lunch or snacks if you’re so inclined. Stop by the True North Cafe to grab a coffee or healthy snack or our newest addition, Wanderbowl.

Wanderbowl is brown rice topped with black beans slowed cooked with onions and garlic, topped with our own special sauce filled with spices, then layered with white cheddar cheese, covered with mango lime cilantro salsa, finished with a dollop of sour cream and avocado. Or, try our vegan version sans cheese and sour cream. Hit up the hot sauce garden and top with your favorite splash of heat.

We ask that you’re respectful of consuming food during the yoga and meditation session.

What to Bring

What do I need to bring?

  • Bring your photo ID and PDF ticket, printed or digital, to check in upon arrival.
  • The essentials: yoga mat and running/walking shoes.
  • Your phone loaded with the Wanderlust – Find Your True North app. It’s the guide in your pocket for Wanderlust 108.
  • Bring your plastic and your paper currency because our vendors will accept both card and cash. You will want to bring enough for local eats, Wanderlust merch, and anything else that strikes your fancy. IMPORTANT: Purchase Wanderlust merch with CREDIT CARD only.
  • We want you to enjoy the sun, but stay safe in it, too. Since you’ll be outdoors, don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and reusable water bottle.
  • Layers: We want you to be comfortable no matter what the weather brings, so come prepared with layers that you can add or subtract depending on the temperature. Bring your hoodie or a light jacket — and a rain jacket just in case! The event will go on rain or shine. If there is lightning we’ll pause until we have been in the clear for 30 minutes.
  • If you want to store your mat and belongings during the run, you’re welcome to bring a backpack. See below for more info on bag check.
  • Snacks to keep yourself nourished throughout the day.
