The Spirituality of Sex, Beauty, and Aging: Aimee Raup

Aimee Raup, accomplished author, acupuncturist, and herbalist leads us in a discussion that explores the connection between love and healthy sexuality.

“The Spirit is the expression of our authentic self into the world.” – Aimee Raup

In this lecture from Wanderlust’s Speakeasy, Aimee Raup, accomplished author, acupuncturist and herbalist leads us in a discussion that explores the connection between love and healthy sexuality. Drawn to the healing arts of eastern medicine, Aimee earned a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine as well as a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Rutgers University. After seeing how little notice contemporary medicine paid to the emotional side of health, Aimee began her journey to help women with poor fertility outlooks, to get pregnant, stay pregnant, and have healthy babies.

Though this talk she explores the idea of sex, beauty and aging through a contemporary lens. She challenges the idea that we become less valuable as we age and encourages listeners to find and project the beauty within. As we begin to understand the importance of the mind body connection, we can see how balancing each piece of our life can lead to a more positive, productive outcome. By opening our hearts to spirituality we can shift our belief systems and break the emotional blocks that separate us from joy; therefore nurturing our hearts, our spirits and physical health.

“Beauty is not just external—it is the light that shines from within and the way we view the world.”

Aimee is in private practice in Manhattan, the Hamptons and Nyack, NY. For additional information, please visit her website.
